Delete Your Account

1. Overview
We respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how to permanently delete your Picabroad account, what happens to your information, and how long the process takes. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
2. How to Request Deletion
You can delete your Picabroad account directly from within the app. To do so:
- Open the Picabroad app on your iOS or Android device.
- Navigate to Profile, then tap Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and select Delete Account.
- Confirm your decision by entering your account password.
Alternatively, you may request deletion by email. Send a message to contact@picabroad.com from the email address associated with your account, using the subject line “Account Deletion Request”. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request.
3. What Data Is Deleted
When your account is permanently deleted, the following information is removed from our active systems:
- Your profile information, including name, email, phone number, and avatar
- Visa and document records you uploaded to your vault
- PR planning data, points configuration, and saved milestones
- Community posts, comments, and reactions
- Referral history and personal referral codes
- Device tokens, push notification preferences, and app settings
4. What Data May Be Retained
A limited amount of information may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business reasons:
- Transaction records — retained for up to seven years to comply with tax, accounting, and consumer protection regulations.
- Anonymised analytics — aggregated usage data that cannot be linked back to you personally may be retained to improve the product.
- Security logs — limited audit logs may be retained for fraud prevention and security investigations.
5. Processing Time
In-app deletion requests are processed immediately. Email-based requests are typically completed within seven business days, and in all cases within thirty days of the request being verified. You will receive an email confirmation once your account and associated data have been removed from our active systems.
6. Reactivating Your Account
Account deletion is permanent. Once your data has been removed, it cannot be recovered. If you wish to use Picabroad again in the future, you will need to create a new account and start fresh.
